![]() He could kill all of those that imprisoned him for years and yet he’d rather have a surrender? Our suspicions that Negan may be undercover were even more piqued when he suggested that they just make the communities surrender and join them. Furious, he tells her not only to go because she messed up what he’s worked so hard for but that she looks like crap. Luckily, Rosita thinks Eugene is just getting some action from Oceanside. Not good since she didn’t want anybody to know about her yet. ![]() Meanwhile, Rosita (Christian Serratos) went to search for Eugene in his radio tower and finds only Stephanie talking from the other end of the radio. This moment really took us back to the beginning when the two first met during season 7 and he brought fruit over to her home in an effort to get to know her. Granted, in a moment of despair, he tried to pull one on Michonne, nonetheless, we still love the man and his admiration for Carol. Ezekiel was okay with waiting and getting eaten by mosquitoes. Carol wasn’t really feeling up to it, however. A confrontation we’ve been waiting all season for. As they get ready to take off, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Lydia (Cassady McClincy) show up on his motorcycle to tell them that they aren’t going anywhere because Alpha and her horde is coming to them.Įzekiel (Khary Patton) finally seeks out Carol (Melissa Mcbride) and finds her at Daryl’s outpost out in the woods. Jerry (Cooper Andrews) is already ready to go. Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) worries that they’re already dead. Luke (Dan Fogler) isn’t so sure about making the trip. Kelly (Angel Theory) geared up to go back out and look for Connie (Lauren Ridloff) and Magna (Nadia Hilker). Mary has been earnest and forthright so far. Earl refused to let Mary see Adam, her nephew and the son he’d come to love. They noticed Mary (Thora Birch) first among them. Stephanie can even turn him away if she sees fit, he offers. Eugene insisted once again that they meet up. After talking about one they saw fall at the same time, they realized they’re not too far from each other. The two discussed how more satellites have been falling. They’ve grown closer since we saw them last. After the whip session, Alpha led the Whisperers-Negan among them with his own creepy walker mask-and the horde to Hilltop, chanting, “We take them all.”Įugene (Josh McDermitt) had been keeping in contact with his radio pal, Stephanie. Personally, with the way he keeps asking about whether he’s a part of them so often we’re back to wondering if all of this is a sting operation with him, just like in the comics. Though, by his chuckle, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a kink for him on some level. He asked if this is his graduation into the Whisperers. Meanwhile, Alpha (Samantha Morton) allowed Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan) to whip her arm with a switch and then she does the same to him. The episode began with Beta (Ryan Hurst) and a few other Whisperers chopping into trees and collecting their sap in these strange sacs that actually turned out to be bladders. ![]() This battle is one we’ve been waiting for and though it’s feeling like the battle of Helms Deep with only three-hundred Spartans. The Whisperer War is here! We’re still taking it in.
